Looking for information on the Sands family. My gg-grandfather was John Sands (1848-1932; b. in Ireland), who settled in Fayette Co. He married Sarah "Cassie" Linderman in Fayette Co. His son William (1882-1947) m. Margaret Mae Dawson (1887-1927) in 1903 in Fayette Co., and then eventually settled in Greene Co. Both John and William have many descendants. My grandfather is William Howard Sands (b.1918) m.1944 Althea Lavina VANCE (b.1924), who still lives in Greene Co.
