This may not be of much help, but may give you some clues. Abraham and Anna McGuire Teagarden had a son William Teagarden, born 21 Apr 1783 and died before 1829. In 1819 he married Mary Holmes, who after the death of her husband, married (2) Robert CUMMINS. Also this William Teagarden had a niece, Mary Ann Teagarden, who married a Lewis FIELDS. This seems to connect these two families. The Teagarden family was of German descent.
Wish had I more, but that's it.......oh yes, the above all happened in Greene Co., PA in Richhill Twp. Many of the above families were said to have gone to Iowa.
