Fred--my family was in Greene co 1790-1840's. My ancestor was Francis Boyce, his dau Sarah married Timothy Taylor. I noted that you have a Nicholas Taylor Bice. My Timothy Tayor's son was Lot Bice Taylor so I responded.
The name is spelled so many different ways. There are Boice families that are connected from the family in NJ 1700's. Let me know if you think there is a connection to your Bice.
