I would love more information on William and Sarah, and anything else you have on the Johns. At one time I thought William and Sarah were the parents of my Thomas Jefferson, but he had brothers Daniel and James. It is strange because he also had brother George Washington, Amos J., and sisters, Sarah Elizabeth, Mary C. (Caroline?), Margaret A., and Martha. These names are very similar to yours. Do you have the dates of birth for yours? Mine start with George in 1823 in Preble Co., OH., and end with Martha born in 1853 in Union Co., IN.

Is there a possibility that William had a second wife named Elizabeth? My Elizabeth was born in about 1797 in PA. Thomas said on the census that his parents were born in Pa. one time and Mass. another. He was very evasive about his parents and his own birth dates.I know that Elizabeth's husband died before she did by several years so I think he was older than her. Any information would be very appreciated! Thanks,
