First, a correction: In my previous post, I incorrectly said "a *possible* connection to *james* craig family of middle island creek , Tyler co WV". Instead, I meant to say: the John Craig (b. 1769 & d. 1848) family of Shiloh (on Middle Island Creek) Tyler co WV. I now have much evidence that Ann (Mrs John) Wilson (1800/01 PA - Nov 16 1850 Louisa co Iowa but lived most of her married life in Tyler co WV)was a dau of that John Craig - tho perhaps by a wife prior to Mary Higginbotham/Hickenbottom (b. ca1785 & who John Craig is said to have married in 1804) the mother of most of his children. Based on Sarah (Mrs James) Hill's death record & other evidence, we also now believe that John Craig had a 2nd child by that earlier marriage: namely Sarah Craig b. 7 Mar 1803 in PA who became wife, ca1820, of James J. Hill b. 1797 in PA, son of James & Elizabeth Mithchell Hill. James & Sarah Craig Hill lived as adults in Tyler/Marshall co area. I am still seeking info on ancestry & siblings of John Wilson b. 1800 PA & on the mother (& other siblings?)of his wife Ann Craig Wilson (& her apparent sister Sarah Craig Hill).
