This is an old message, but perhaps you are still active on genforum or at least have the same email address as in 2002.

There were many folks with the last name of Tharp, Thorp, and Thorpe in Greene County before 1850. I have just begun researching the Greene County part of my Tharp line. Apparently I have ancestors in Morgan and Cumberland Townships though I have not come across any Isaac yet. If you have gotten more informastion, please let me know. Do try looking for the alternative spellings.
