That is a very kind offer, Heidi. JS Armeish also offered to look in this cemetery. Do you know her/him? Maybe you could look together. Findagrave lists the Glades Cemetery, but they have no listing for Richey. The name can be spelled different ways--Ritchey, Ritchie, Richie. I have even seen one spelling for the father and another for the son on tombstones in the same cemetery. It was Elizabeth Humbert Richey who was listed in the genealogy book as being in this cemetery. Her husband, Samuel, might be there. Their oldest son, Newton S. Ritchie, was buried in Green Mount Cemetery. I don't know where their other children were buried--Herman and Clara M (who married William Smith). Elizabeth's father was Abraham. He got custody of his daughter's children from the Orphans Court after Samuel died in the War of 1812. Women had no rights in those days. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas, Jacki Notify Administrator about this message?
