I don't know if this information will help you, but I did find Charles Rutan listed in the 1910 Census for Whiteley Twp. Charles Rutan, 28; Minnie, 27; Mabel, 8; Paul, 5; Emery, 3; and Edith G., 1. Charles is listed as a farmer and renting the property where he lived. The Charles Rutan family lived next to the families of M. J. Lemunyan and Arthur Snyder. The names of the other head of households listed on that census page are James Mooney, Mary Ann Mooney, Otho Hoy, Noah Patterson and Rufus Patterson.
