William Polen (b. 1862 in Aleppo, Twp., Greene Co., PA-- d. unknown in 1953?), son of John Thomas Polen, Sr, married Sarah Lavina McCracken (b.1862 in Greene Co., PA—d. 1946 in Scenery Hill, Washington Co., PA) about 1883. John Thomas and Sarah Lavina had 8 or 9 children, and Sarah Lavina claimed to be divorced and was living with her parents at the time of the 1910 census. In 1920 and 1930, Sarah Lavina claims to be a widow.
I cannot find William in the census AFTER 1900. Despite Sarah Lavina's claim in 1920 and 1930, an unknown source claims that William died in 1953 (location unknown).
QUESTIONS:
Where was William Polen in 1910, 1920 and 1930?
When and where did William die, and where is he buried?
What did William do for a living?
Where is Sarah Lavina McCracken Polen buried?
John Thomas Polen, Sr. is my wife's great, great grandfather so William would have been her great uncle.
