John Thomas Polen (1838-1902)

John Thomas POLEN (Poland/Poling) (1838-1902) married Harriet King (1840-1932) in and had 10 to 12 children with her. John is supposed to have served in Co. A, 18th PA Infantry during the Civil War. But I can not find a recognition of this service. John Thomas is supposed to be burried in the Higgins Cemetery (or is it the Hewitt Cemetery) in Greene Co., PA. But again, I can not find reference to such burial in the on site records for these cemeteries.

IF and where did John Thomas Polen serve in the military during the Civil War?

Where is John Thomas burried?

John Thomas Polen is my wife' great, greatgrandfather.

Willing to share.
