I was born and lived most of my life in Crucible. I remember your grandparents and most of their children. If memory serves me right, your grandfather was a constable or served in another police related department. They seemed to be a very quiet family-from a child's point of view. They lived in a house on the outskirts of town across from the Shefcheck farm (my husband's grandparents). If you need help with dates, etc., there is the Cornerstone Genealogical Society in Waynesburg that may be able to help you. They are located in the Bowlby Library at 311 N. West Street, Wbg., Pa. 15370 and the phone number is 724 627-5653. In Fayette County there is the Pennsylvania Room located in the Uniontown Library that has a lot of info. Good Luck!
