Have you any knowledge of Harman Moore(1753-1838)? He married a Catherine Rofelty of Greene Co., Pa. Later moved to Fairfield Co., Ohio. Here is an excerpt from her father's estate:
"Petition of Mathias Rofelty, child of Mathias Rofelty, late of Greene Co., who died intestate leaving a son, Mathias, and daughters Catharine, Sarah, Barbara, Hannah and Susannah . . . Catharine was married to Harman Moore. She died leaving Peter and Susannah Moore. Sarah married Silas Estle; Barbary married Levi Blackledge; Hannah married _____Collins; Susannah (youngest sister) married William Teagarden . . . . he owned a tract of land on Tenmile Creek in Jefferson Twp., adjoining James Rush and others . . . contained 96 acres. . . . Inquest awarded on request . . . . 4-17-1815 value $850. Page 57. Third Monday April 1815 - same place and persons."
