Thank You, Bonnie for the info on the surname TARMAN. I found an Obituary Card for a Mary TARMAN at the local Historical Society Library, (Fulton County, PA.) but none for an Edward TARMAN. I will check the other spellings next time I visit there. I'm wondering if Mary TARMAN was a PITTMAN before her marriage to Edward, because there are some PITTMAN's buried in the SIMPSON Graveyard where Mary is buried. Also, HARRIS, KEEFER, and HESS are buried there, so maybe there's a connection to one of these families.

Once again, Thanks !
