Looking for information on John Bryan/Bryne/Brine/Brien of Greencastle, Franklin Co. He was a wagonmaker and born about 1814 in Ohio.
Name was spelled at least four ways. In 1850 name was John Bryne 34 yrs old from Ohio, wife was Susan 28 yrs old from Pa., In 1860 name was Jn. Brien with wife Susan, 5 children youngest being Sharlot 4 years old.,In 1870 name was John Brine (no wife listed) 6 children youngest Benjamin 5/12 years old. I believe Charlotte (13 in 1870) is my GGd-mother. Charlotte Anna Margaret Bryan was married 3 times, Hammill Lenherr in 1874, Lewis O. Swisher in 1883, and Sylvester Poole in 1920, all from Greencastle area.
Any information would be great!!!!
Will gladly share any information I might have.
Thanking you in advance, John
