My grandmother's father was a Michael Burkett that was born in 1849 in Blair County, Pennsylvania. He was married to Susanna Kiffer (dau. of Enoch Kiffer) and they had 4 children as far as I know. They were, Blanche Ione, Celia Celestial (my grandmother), Wilbur, and Pearle, Susanna died in 1893. He remarried to Polly Brady (widow of Aaron Brady) and was living in Neiltown in 1900 according to the US Federal Census.
I cannot find out anything more about him after 1900. Does anyone know anything about this family? I would appreciate anything I can find out.
If anyone knows anything about Enoch Kiffer I would appreciate that also.
