Daniel EWINGS, Cooper Tract, PA est 1870
Posted by: Kimberly Ewing Dugan Date: May 18, 2001 at 21:17:30
  of 85

My great-grandfather Daniel EWINGS had numerous children by two wives, Bertha (MOORE or CAMPBELL or CAMPBELL-MOORE from Ireland) and Sarah (ACER? ASER?). My understanding is that he was from Forest County, possibly Cooper Tract? I am looking for any information on birthdates, etc., especially Daniel and his wives. There was a total of at least 13 children between these wives, among them being Harry Melvin Ewing(s), my grandfather (who dropped the "s" from his name sometime after the marriage to Sarah), Merle, Stella, Ella, Thomas Eugene (grandfather of another researcher searching for Daniel), Irene, Florence, Raymond, Henry, Gladys, Frank, Norman and Albert. The oldest child was born around 1890. Any help would be gratefully accepted and any information I have readily shared.
