Help me connect Fayette families!

In an effort to learn more about my elusive ancestor, Samuel S. Lane/Lain 1813-1885 (b. VA) who married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Audra Moore before 1832 and having four children between 1832 and 1838 in or near Fayette County, PA (I presume she died, possibly in childbirth 1838 as he is remarried living in VA by 1840)I decided to try to learn something about three other men that purchased land in Fayette Co. with Samuel in Dec. 1835 from Andrew Stewart. The other three men are, Conrad W. Show, Levi Cushman and Alexander Stewart. Samuel ended up selling his land in April 1837 to Harrison Wysang. Generally speaking I wouldn't think four strangers would purchase land together so I am assuming they either have a family connection, long term friends, same religious group, or previous neighbors. Can you help by telling me something about any of the mentioned people? This is pretty much all I know about Samuel from 1813 until 1840's. No idea who his family or his wife's family are or where they are from. Thank you for your assistance.
