I checked the records in Fayette County and Martha and Fred were not married there. In a check of the records in Allegheny County today of Fred's sister Bertha I find that Fred married Mary E. Martin on 2/5/1901. Mary E Martin was a seventeen year old widow. Her father Joseph T Kirby had to consent to the marriage. At the time he was a coal miner living and working in Washington County. When I get a chance I will check the Washington County records for the Martha Hall marriage and a death record for Mary. Was not a long period of time since Fred Jr. was born in 1904. Good Luck Bill
