Wm. E. St. Clair was b. in VA in 1833, son of James & Elizabeth. Married Rachel Smalley of Chalk Hill, Fayette Co.in about 1862. Wm. died in Fayette Co. in 1893. Wm. & Rachel were members of First Baptist Church. Rachel's obit says Wm. was a constable in Connellsville 'for some years before his death'. No luck tracing him otherwise. Can anyone make any suggestions as to church records or law enforcement records?
