John Farr and Lucinda Hopwood were my GGGG Grandparents. I think we covered this in another thread, but I haven't found much info on his line either. He would have been a very young man during the Revolutionary War. I could only find their son, Moses, in the 1880 US Census. I never found John or Lucinda in any earlier ones.

There is a good chance he had Revolutionary War connections, as Lucinda's father, John Hopwood, was reportedly an Aide de camp to General George Washington during the Revolution.

Are you connected to the Hopwood line also?
