Hello:

I am trying to research my ancestor James Meek, who was born in 1778, son to Isaac Meek (1746 - 1840). In 1820, James resided in Fayette County, PA.

James died in 1826 in IN while visiting family.

Can anyone please give me instructions on how to see if James left any probate records, land records, or a will in Fayette County, PA? Or would anyone who is local to that area be willing to look into this for me? I would of course pay them.
