Seek info on John (b. ca 1791 in Westmoreland Co PA) McClain, his wife Keturah (or Catherine b also Westmoreland) BURGESS/BURGES McClain. John died before 1870 and Keturah alive as of 1870 census.

I believe they had a son Jacob McClain who is shown in 1850 census in Fayette with no wife but 3 young children Malinda, John, and Hannah. What happened to this family?

Also, in 1850 census, John McClain shows a Plummer McClain in HH...what happened to him?
