1830s ship chandler Henry LINDEN
Posted by: Robin Agarwal (ID *****9305) Date: February 26, 2013 at 08:34:48

Looking for evidence of Henry LINDEN b. 1780-1790 NY or PA, d. 1833-1835 probably in Erie or Crawford Co, PA, m. abt. 1820 (eloped after buying a horse from her father, according to family lore!) Eliza AKINSON/ATCHINSON "of plantation country in the South." He appears in the 1830 census in Cussawago, Crawford, PA, but he "died young" and his children were living with other families by 1850. He was a ship chandler in the 1830 census and his children married into families in Erie/Harborcreek.
Children: Unknown Eldest Son b. 1820-1825, Mary Ann LINDEN b. abt. 1828, Col. Harry LINDEN b. abt. 1830, and Elizabeth J. LINDEN b. abt. 1833.
Suggestions much appreciated!
