I had come across an obituary for a distant cousin, Arline Baumeister, who had died in Florida around 1988. According to the obituary, she was survived by a cousin named Dorothy Whitley of Erie, PA. I know Arline had a cousin whose maiden name was Dorothy Nickel and I suspect that Whitley is this Dorothy's married name. Dorothy Nickel was the daughter of Dr. James Edward Nickel and Clara Grace Baumeister. It appears, if I have the right Dorothy, that she died in 1989. Dorothy had a brother named James and a sister named Margaret. I did not know if anyone is familiar with this family or know if there is an obituary for Dorothy or her parents (unknown when they would've died).
