Hi I really need help.
Does anyone have info on a MARGARET OR ARVILLA OR BETTY LEWIS. That used to live at 908 East 9th St. in Erie, pa. in the 1930's
Their parents were CLYDE & ANNA LEWIS.
My husbands birth cert. stated his mother is MARGARET LEWIS,
gave bith to KENNETH JOHN LEWIS. June 4th 1940. Born at Hamet HoSsp in Erie. She was 19 years old. Her address at the time of his birth was the 908 East 9th St.She kept him until he was between the age of 3 & 4, when he was then taken away & placed in ST. JOSEPH'S ORPHANGE IN ERIE. He was there between 2 to 3 years. Then he was taken by a family by the name of AUDREY & ELLENOR DECKER in North East, pa. He was never adopted But went by the name the of KENNETH DECKER. He stayed with the Decker's until he left & joined the navy in 1959. Graduated from NORTH EAST HIGH SCHOOL in 1958.
Kenneth really wants to know any family he might have, brothers, sisters, mother & WHO'S MY DADDY.
Can anyone please help. Ken is now 67 years old. He really needs this to help his emotional state. We live in Calif. & are not able to take a trip at this time.
Hope someone has something.
Ken & Connie in Calif.
