I suggest getting Charles and Hilda's death certificates from the PA dept of Health. They should list their parents' names. If you don't have the exact dates of death check the database for the Erie Cemetery where they are buried: http://www.eriecemeteryassoc.com/search_genealogy.php

Check with the Erie County Public Library and the Erie Society for Genealogical Research about finding obituaries.

If you cannot find what you need on Charles try to find what you can on his sister. The Historical Society of St. Marys & Benzinger Twp., Saint Marys Public Library and the Elk County Historical Society may be able to help you find her obit.
