Thank you Joan for the information. I'm reasonably sure this is the same family. Fred and Amy Hewitt from Elk County, ( my paternal grandparents) were Catholic. Would you know if there is a church near there that I could contact? All 4 of their sons, John, Earl, Paul, and Ward Hewitt were confirmed and all 4 took the name of Peter. I have contacted the Mormon Church data base, with no luck whatsoever. Thanks again for your help.
