I do know that the Hyde House was there in about 1900/1902 when my Grandmother worked there. I assume it was a hotel/eating/bar
sort of place. My grandmother cleaned there
and spoke of the dancing. Try the 1900 census perhaps...to see where it was located or I bet the Elk Co Historical Soc or public library might have pictures or history of it.
