House of Refuge for Boys, Thornbury Twp, Delaware County PA

Hello Everyone,

I need information on the "House of Refuge for Boy's" located in Thornbury Twp, Delaware County, PA. My great grandfather was sent there in 1900. I think the school was for wayward youths.

Are the school's files open to the public? How would I go about getting copies of my great grandfather's records? Whom should I call or write? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Senora Amos
