Land location - Dinsmore, Smiley, Brady

Trying to locate Lot. 1257 in District 6 of the Donation Lands in terms of present day townships or even more precise location. The survey identifies no geographical features. Given the general location of District 6, the land likely was in the northern portion of Venango or the southern part of Crawford.

Patent for 200 acres issued in 1786 to Michael Brady. A reference states that it was sold to one William Dinsmore, but the date of sale is not given. He died in 1818 or early 1819 (will proved 19 May 1819) and a fragment of his will appears to direct that his executors either make a deed to an Andrew Smiley or sell the land for the benefit of Elizabeth Smiley and three daughters. The will fragment indicates that the original patent and deed was then in possession of John Greiner (shown in 1810 as an accountant in Philadelphia).

1. Can anyone tell me where this land is located?

2. In the county deed records is there a deed dated after 1818 from a grantor named Dinsmore, Greiner, or Smiley, which conveys 200 acres with reference to the estate, the lot number, or Brady?

3. In either the county deed records or estate records is there a copy of the will of William Dinsmore filed to establish title by devise?

4. Are there tax records which would show the ownership and transfer?
