According to the Rootsweb site for Livingston Michigan "The [Carmer]family removed to Crawford County" [from Chautaqua County, NY] around 1835-36 "they resided [there] until June 1849 when the elder Carmer [Daniel] removed to Tyrone, purchased the farm now owned by son, John T., and resided there until his death which occurred in 1879." The oldest of Daniel and Bethia Carmer's children - Sarah, Cornelia, and Abraham - remained in Crawford County. Sarah married a man named Ford and Cornelia a man named Henry (surname). Does anyone have any information about these families. Thanks very much.
