I found a newspaper announcement of the marriage of Philip "Freedebaugh" and Mrs. Marcy Mayo, both of Mead Twp., Crawford Co., on Thursday, 13 Sept. 1827. Obviously she had been married before, so she could very well have been born Marcy/Marcy Pike. However, there was no Mayo-Pike marriage wedding announcement in the local newspaper. It would probably be good to check for the death of the missing Mr. Mayo. If you want to send me your snail mail address, I will forward the marriage announcement to you.
