Yes, I think my Thomas Sloan who married Elizabeth Aikman was the son of the William Sloan who was the member of the Presbyterian church. I have a picture of Thomas's gravestone. I was told Elizabeth married an Elijah Owen and had 4 more children. I think they were all born in Canada. It would be good to know if they came to Clinton County, Iowa.
