I am looking for information regarding Joseph A Minnick (may also be spelled Minnich) who lived in Centralia, PA. Relatives might be in Donaldson, Hegins, Ashland, Northumberland County, and Schuylkill County, all in PA. I am not sure where the family originated.

In 1900 when Joseph A Minnick was 46 y/o, he did not live there in 1880 (and of course the 1890 census burned in a fire in 1921). Joseph was married to a woman listed as Susan (though the 1990 census has her listed as Sarah). He had two sons, Lawrence and Harper, and a Daughter Phronie (may also be Theoney).

Lawrence married Emma B Jones in 1901 and had a daughter Lucy born 9/11/1902. However, Emma died in 1904 and Lawrence married a woman named Catherine with whom he had a son named Elvin. In the 1920 census, Lawrence, Catherine, and Elvin have all disappeared and Lucy is living with Joseph A and Susan Minnick. Lucy may have married a man named Garfield Becker and had a daughter named Gloia.

Harper Garfield Minnick married a woman named Irene (possible last name of Bush)with whom he had a daughter Jessie and a daughter named Ester (born about 1918).

If you have any information about this family, please let me know.
