Re: buried “in Zion Church, Snyders”
Appears as follows:
"Abraham Schellhammer (son of Hans Johannes Jerg a.ka.
Hans George Schöllhammer)was the first to get on the tax
list, and apparently was the oldest. There are
gravestones for him and his wife at Zion church, at
Snyders. REF:(I think this is your?)

The Thought—If some of Abraham’s descendants are
reposed at "Zion Church, Snyders"—so too
might others descended of George
Forebearer. We are confident my wife’s Shellhammer line
is:
Hans Jerg and Anna Margaretha SCHÖLLHAMER; George and
Mary (EHRO) SCHELLHAMMER; Georg and Katharine (FRIETH or
FRIETHE-maybe ELIT?); Isaac and Elizabeth (KECK);
Samuel and Lydia (EHRO KEENER); Mary Alice and
Samuel HUNSINGER: Ervin and Sallie (MCAFEE)HUNSINGER
My wife, her mother, and her grandmother Sallie spent years collecting, talking to relatives as they could find them, and collating, charting/notating. The trip, hopefully, will help “tie-up” loose ends so we “know” that what is passed on is as correct as time and effort can make it.
Request: Actually was “grasping at straws”. I didn’t know the location of “Zion at Snyder’s” or denomination. I know our “grave year shift” begins at Elan Park in Berwick and am trying to “map” the course so I know what cemetery plats I have to look for.
