Sam,
Did you ever get the information you needed on Clara Berninger and Henry F. Litwhiler? Your post was so long ago I'm hoping you did. If not let me know and I have some information for you.

In the interum, I'll take this opportunity to ask if you or anyone has information on Amos Edwin/Edward Litwhiler b.1857. I know his wife and children but know nothing of his parents. I get stumped on his history prior to 1880. He could very well be Henry F. Litwhiler's oldest brother....I'm still working on that angle.
