I would love to hear from anyone with a connection to the Hugh McBride family beginning in Mahoning Township, with some in Madison Township, some in Hemlock and West Hemlock,
Danville, etc. Hugh was born abt 1740 in Northern Ireland, wife Mary (--?--). He died 2 Dec 1808 and Mary died 3 Dec 1818 and both are buried in the Old Presbyterian Cemetery, Danville, PA. They had nine children:
1. Nathaniel McBride b. abt 1764 d.30 Jun 1821 wf. Margaret
2. Hannah McBride b.1766 d.16 Jul 1846 in NY m.Duncan Gray
3. Hugh McBride, Jr. b.abt 1770 no further record
4. Susanna McBride b.abt 1768 d.4 Nov 1854 m.William Gingles.
5. Jane McBride b.23 Aug 1773 d.1 Dec 1858 m.Isaac Boudman
6. James McBride b.1774 d.13 Feb 1813 m.Mary Derr
7. Mary McBride b.23 Dec 1776 d.? m. Robert Moore
8. William Mc Bride b.1777 d.1829 m.Mercy Carr Barton
9. Thomas McBride b.1783 d.16 Jul 1856 m.Anna (--?--)
(Thomas is my great-great grandfather.) I would love to hear from descendants of any of the above.
