Hello Cousins & Historians:
• We are researching (as thoroughly as possible) the Pennsylvania Gearhart line from John Frederick (b. 1754 d. 1840) & Catherine Gearhart thru to the current time. • We need primary sources of information and...sites and cites!
• Mordecai Gearhart (b. 1721/28 poss. Alsace-Lorraine) would be our oldest traceable relative. We know of him - but little about him. He may have fought at the Battle of Germantown (his son, John, is shown on the muster of a Lancaster Co. PA regiment)
• We are having a Descendants of John Frederick Gearhart & Catherine Gray Reunion on Sunday 14 July 2002 atPavilion # 4 in Parker Dam State Park Clearfield/Centre Counties, PA.
