Gabriel Lucas, Osceola Mills, 1880

I am looking for information about Gabriel Lucas and his family. I know the family spent some time in Clearfield county, because he is listed in the 1880 census on Stone Street in Osceola Mills, with the following family members: his wife, whose name is illegible, but I believe her name was Kaziah (maiden name Marlin), son Joshua W. & his wife Agnes, daughters Ann & Bessie. Gabrielís occupation is listed as Laborer and Joshua is listed as working in the mines.

Annie married William Dutton in 1883 in Houtzdale, so I think they lived in Clearfield County for at least a few years. They relocated to Jersey Shore, Lycoming County between 1889 and 1891. William Dutton can be found in the 1880 census, working in the woods (for a sawmill, I think) in Ramey Village, Gulich Twp, Clearfield county.

I would like to hear from anyone who might have information about this family, particularly Gabriel Lucasí parentage . Iíll share what information I have.

Thanks, Christie Loveless
