The Centennial Book on Porter Twonship & Tower City has bios on both the Hand & Heberling families. Sorry, no sources given for info but it is worth a start. I have an ancestor marrying an Edna Heberling in Porter Twp. Chales O. Knight (known as Lupe)born Sep 1895 was a son of Samuel Knight & Elizabeth Maus. Lupe's sister was my grandmother, Annie W. who married Charles Berger.
