Hi...Im looking for information on my gg-grandfather John C. Hitchings b.1859 in Bradford Twp.He was the son of David Hitchings and Anna Cowder. John married Annie Oswalt. I've already had a search done for marriage records with no results. John and Annie had a son in Woodland named Arthur B. Hitchings. Arthur was born in 1887. I found a reference to John C. Hitchings in a book about the history of Clearfield. It was written in 1898. It said John C. Hitchings was deceased and his widow died 8 years before. Thats all I've been able to find out. David Hitchings is buried at Bigler Cemetery.He died in 1913. If anyone happens to go to the Bigler cemetery, could you please look to see if my gg-grandparents John and Annie Hitchings is buried there? Any help would be appreciated.
