John Luther, with sons Martin and John settled in Snowshoe Pennsylvania before moving to Morrisdale Pennsylvania, where they resided for forty years. According to the 1910 Census Miracode Index, John and Mary, both 69 at the time, lived with son, Martin. According to his obit of 1923, John(age 83), for a long time followed the occupation of coal miner in the Morrisdale region, Clearfield County, Pa. John became crippled in a mine explosion and recently had been totally blind.
The son John was to have lived in Snowshoe area of Centre County Pa.

thanks for any help you can give
