Dr. George W. Stewart died 12-Aug-1862 and is buried in the New Washington Cemetary in New Washington borough, Burnside Township, Clearfield County, PA.
It is likely his wife was Mollie E. Kirby, who he married in New Washington on 12-Nov-1861 by her brother Rev. Edmund Wesley Kirby, a Methodist-Episcopal minister serving in New Washington at the time.
My question is what happened to Mollie after his death, and if he had a child with her? Would the Altoona Tribune have a death notice or obituary for Dr. Stewart?
