Do you have any information pertaining to Elizabeth (Reisinger) Shoemaker.

Elizabeth was born Aug. 2, 1806 in Germany, and came to PA. with her parents as a child, settling first in Dauphin County, then moving with her father at age twenty (c. 1826) to Clearfield County.

Elizabeth Reisinger married Charles Shoemaker in 1835. She lived most all of her life in the Sabula - DuBois area.

Elizabeth (Reisinger) Shoemaker, aka "MOTHER SHOEMAKER", died on December 10, 1910 with the distinction of being the oldest woman in the state of PA. She was 104 years old. (Death notice copied from an old newspaper out of DuBois (?) on page 6, dated December 2(?)...)

Elizabeth (Reisinger) Shoemaker is buried in the Sabula Methodist Church Cemetery.
