William Bloom (1752-1828) Clearfield County Pioneer - Biography!

I've just completed a new update to a biography I've written on my fourth great-grandfather William Bloom (1752-1828), which has expanded from six to ten pages. William is the son of Johann Peter Blum (1731-1814) and was an American immigrant, who for a time settled in Hunterdon County, NJ and served in the Revolutionary War. He married Mary Ann Mettler (1754-1827) in 1778 in Alexandria Township, NJ and together they had eleven children.

William went on to be one of the earliest settlers of Clearfield County PA. His posterity numbers in the tens of thousands. The document includes a bibliography, headstone photos and an examination of claims regarding William's Revolutionary War service. Contact me at ricksgenealogy@gmail.com for a free copy.
