BARR - (W)RAY - VARNER

I am trying to find a link between JANE BARR, born abt 1806 in Pa and first married JOHN (W)RAY and lived in Toby, Armstrong before it became Toby, Clarion, and THOMAS BARR, born abt 1804 in Pa. I 'THINK' that THOMAS BARR,
born abt 1804 and living with wife SARAH in the 1850 Porter, Clarion, 1860 and 1870 Madison, Clarion censuses 'COULD' be a brother to the previously-mentioned JANE BAR. Jane with first husband John Ray/Wray is in
the 1840 Toby, Armstrong census, then in the 1850 Toby, Clarion census(with 2nd husband DAVID VARNER) and in the 1860 Madison, Clarion census with 3rd husband ALEXANDER WORK. According to the 31 July 1890 Tyrone newspaper
obituary of Jane Barr Ray Varner Work (who with Alexander Work moved to and died in Huntingdon county sometime in the 1860's), she became a Presbyterian in Clarion county at the age of 18 (so about 1824)and afterwards became a member of the Protestant Methodist Church. She left Clarion county sometime in the 1860's, so was in Clarion county for sure between 1824 (if not earlier) and the 1860's. Given that one of her daughters by John Ray was
named Tamer (Tamar) as one of the daughters of Thomas Barr (and another brother of Jane's also named a daughter Tamer), I "suspect strongly' that Thomas was a brother. This is what I'm trying to find out. If they were
related, how, if there is any mention of the names of either of their parents and which PA state they were born in.

THOMAS BARR died in Madison twp in Clarion county sometime between 1870 and 1880 (his wife Sarah died after 1880 and probably in Armstrong county).

Jane Barr married John Ray (or Wray) in 1827 (as Barr) and I suspect in the Presbyterian church in Toby twp. She married David Varner (as Wray) abt 1845, also probably in Toby twp. And she married Alexander Work (as Varner)
abt 1855 in either Toby or Madison twp in Clarion county.

ANY help- or clues would be gratefully accepted.
