Jones (Jonas) J. Walker was bron abt. 1826 in Pennsylvania. He first shows up in the 1850 Census in Germantown with other boarders learning the trade of Carpentry. He marry's Abbie (nee) Walker abt 1854. He shows up in the 1860 census back in West Whiteland Township, wife Abie and daughter Catharine age 6 and son Willie (William) age .5 years. In 1880 he appears in the same location with his wife Abbie and son William. Both men's occupation are listed as Carpenteers.

I am trying to find Jonas/Jones Parents. There is a Thomas b. 1800 who appears in West Whiteland, Chester. He again appears in the 1835 Census of West Whiteland as a Carpenter. Could this be Jonas's Father? The family kept the Carpentry trade for 4 generations.

If anyone can help me track down or provide advice in lcocating Jonas parents I would be most greatful.
