Sandra,

The last documented ancestory is Eli Holeman. He was born in Chester 1725, went to Northumberland (one case he states that he stayed there 5 years, but then I see more like 10 yrs), and then on to Forest/Venango Co. He died there in 1825. I found mention that his father, Charles, served in the Revolutionary War with him. I have found a Charles & Katherine Holeman married in Kennett, Chester Co. in 1724 and they had 3 children. Someone suggested that they may have had another child, Charles born about 1735, and that may be Eli's father. I have not found that. Everything I see is that there were 3 children. I haven't a clue if I am any closer now, then I was about 1 month ago trying to find Charles. Honestly, I have been trying to do all of this without the help of any of the online, sign-up and pay, websites. Why??? Am I cheap, perhaps determined is more like it!!! Everytime I click on something and see an advertisement for one of them, I want to scream. Thanks again for you help!!!
