I am researching an ancestor, Samuel Dickinson, born in Chester Cty, PA, around 1793, served in War of 1812, died of typhoid, married Margaret Passmore. I found information posted on Rootsweb under the name Daniel Dickinson which lists a possible son Samuel. I am having trouble understanding the wives and children in two Rootsweb posts about Daniel Dickinson. In particular, I'm trying to learn more about the possible son Samuel, who is listed but not elaborated. All I know from my own work is that SOME Samuel Dickinson married Margaret Passmore and they had a daughter Rebecca Grubb Dickinson, who is definitely my great great grandmother. Thank you. Tom Seeley
