LOST GRAVES,

TWO YEARS AGO THIS MAY I TOOK MY FIRST TRIP TO CENTRE CO. I THOUGHT I WAS PREPARED TO FIND ALL MY BURIED "BARR" FAMILY. I STARTED AT PHILLIPSBURG CEMETERY LOOKING FOR MY G GRANDFATHER SAMUEL EVERHART BARR AND HIS WIFE KAISA BARR. THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY SAID HE WAS BURIED THERE. AFTER SPENDING 4 HOURS SEARCHING FOR THE GRAVE I CAME UP EMPTY HANDED. HE DIED 4/29/1927. HE WAS A CIVIL WAR VET AND COULDN'T FIND A THING. THE CEMETERY PEOPLE TOLD ME THEY HAD NO RECORD OF HIS BURIEL. I HAVE COPIES OF HIS OBIT, AND NO SAMUEL. KAISA DIED 6/18/1902 AND ACCORDING TO ALL THE INFORMATION I HAVE SHE WAS BURIED THERE AS WELL. ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO FIND LOCATIONS?
COMPLETEY STRUCK OUT ON ENTIRE LINE EVEN THOUGH 5 GENERATIONS ARE BURIED THERE. I BELIEVE SOME WERE BURIED AT THEIR OLD HOMESTEAD BUT I'M AT A DEAD END AND WILL BE COMING TO THE PITTSBURGH AREA AGAIN THIS MAY AND WOULD LOVE ANOTHER SHOT AT FINDING SAMUELS & KAISIA BARR'S GRAVES. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS, PAM BARR CHAMBERS
